Population Census (SP2010) in Langkat

Census of Population (SP) is an implementation of national activities carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in accordance with Act No. 16 of 1997 and is a recommendation of the United Nations (UN).

On May 1 to 31, 2010. BPS will return melakasnakan SP sixth time since Indonesian independence. The aim of SP2010 is to provide basic data more recent population both in terms of quantity as well as the parameters of population. So SP2010 implementation should be better than the previous SP implementation.

One effort that needs to be done is to build awareness of the whole range of BPS and all levels of society about the importance of SP2010. In order to achieve these objectives required an effective campaign strategies and efficient so that people know as early as possible the existence SP2010 activities, community feel loss if not recorded and subsequently conscious society actively involved in the implementation of the SP2010.

Some SP2010 campaign strategy has been carried out by BPS Langkat to disseminate a variety of media campaigns such as: billboards, banners, standing banners, posters, leaflets, stickers, audio and video theme SP2010, newspaper articles to forums formal and informal.

Hopefully SP2010 in Langkat run smoothly, successfully and generate accurate data, valid and up to date as a construction material in Langkat khususnya.PDRB Langkat 2010-2014
