Langkat Regency BPS has held SLS Updating Enumeration Area (EA) Officer Training on July 4 2024 offline (face to face). This activity was attended by 1 participant with the speaker Mrs. Yulia Nur Jannah, SST, M.Si as the instructor.

This training activity was carried out to prepare officers, namely to strengthen their understanding of the concepts and methodology in implementing the 2024 SLS Updating Enumeration Area (EA) so that accurate data collection results can be obtained later.

Updating Enumeration Area (EA) SLS is an update of the statistical working area of the smallest unit, namely the Local Environmental Unit (SLS), both in terms of area and in terms of quantity, namely area

enumeration/data collection for field officers. The Enumeration Area functions to assist officers in identifying their work areas and minimizing double counting/passing, so that data quality can be maintained. The aim of Updating EA SLS is to capture SLS change information, continuously, update SLS content on SLS that is experiencing changes and produce up to date SLS masters and maps as a reference for updating the sample frame.
