In order to provide continuous employment data, the Central Statistics Agency is conducting the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS). The implementation of SAKERNAS is carried out twice a year, namely in February and August.

Currently, BPS is carrying out the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) in August 2024. The series of activities for the National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) this time began with officer training. Officer training was carried out in two stages, namely independent training (July 18-19, 2024) and face-to-face training (July 22-23, 2024) which was held at the Grand Stabat Hotel. The SAKERNAS officer training was attended by 12 field inspection officers (PML), 29 field data collection officers (PPL), and guided by 4 regional instructors.

After officer training, the August 2024 SAKERNAS officers will update the sample census block contents on July 25 to August 7, 2024 and collect sample household data on August 8-31, 2024.
