Have you ever heard about One Indonesian Data (SDI)?

SDI is government data management to produce data that is accurate, up-to-date, integrated, accountable and easy to share between agencies, both central and regional.

SDI aims to encourage openness and transparency of data so as to create data-based development planning and policy formulation.

Valid data is one of the keys to development, so much so that President Joko Widodo once said that data is a new type of wealth that is more valuable than oil.

Through Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning SDI, BPS was appointed to be the Supervisor of Statistical Data, especially in the implementation of sectoral statistics carried out by regional governments/ministries/institutions.

Located at BPS Langkat Regency, Friday 2 February 2024, the Langkat Regency Sectoral Statistics Development Team received knowledge sharing provision regarding this SDI material which was delivered by Mrs. Leni Marlina Sigiro, S.Si.

This is a preparation for the Team in finalizing the implementation of guidance to OPDs/agencies within the Langkat Regency regional government.

The success of SDI in Langkat Regency depends on the joint commitment of both data producers, data guardians and data supervisors in the Langkat district government.
