Langkat Regency BPS provided Sectoral Statistics Guidance (PSS) at the Langkat Regency Inspectorate Service, on Wednesday, May 15 2024.
The PSS activities provided were related to the material on the Implementation of Statistics in the One Indonesian Data Framework (SDI) which was delivered by Mr. Abdul Rahman Efendi, A.Md. and material on the Implementation of Statistical Activities presented by Mrs. Nadya Yantieka, S.Si.
Mrs. Leni Marlina Sigiro, S.Si, as coordinator of the Langkat Regency PSS team, hopes that through the coaching carried out, the Inspectorate Service will be able to carry out sectoral statistical activities with good business processes in accordance with SDI principles, especially in carrying out Community Satisfaction Surveys. Apart from that, it is able to inventory the list of data produced, especially data that refers to the national priority data list.
Taking place in the Langkat Regency Inspectorate Service Hall, the event was attended by the Head of General Subdivision (Mr. Elly Hasmi, SE) and several staff members of the Langkat Regency Inspectorate Service. Also present was a data guardian representative from the Langkat Regency Communications and Information Service, namely Mrs. Eliana Syafitri, S.Sos. In his direction, the Data Mayor hopes that the Langkat Regency Inspectorate Service will support the implementation of One Data Indonesia (SDI) in Langkat Regency.

The role of Data Producers in implementing SDI in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 39 of 2019 includes producing statistical data in accordance with SDI principles, namely data standards, metadata, interoperability and reference codes.
BPS, in its duties and responsibilities in setting data standards, continues to improve in order to create a National Statistical System. The latest regulation by BPS regarding data standards is BPS Regulation no. 4 of 2020 concerning Technical Instructions for Statistical Data Standards, BPS Regulation no. 10 of 2023 concerning Statistical Data Standards (revoking BPS Regulation No. 4 of 2021 concerning National Statistical Data Standards), and Head of BPS Decree No. 850 of 2023 concerning National Statistical Data Standards.
